Ive never thought about it that way but I was scared of everything as a kid and now I find myself way more drawn to the horror genre with movies + books. And totally agree on Korean horror (I loved The Wailing).
PS - there’s a new show on Peacock, considered “horror” and it’s 1 season, new episodes out on tuesdays. Something about zombies. I am giving it a shot because I love horror stuff and I am always down for new stuff to watch , so we shall see lol
